RES Volunteer Service Award - The purpose of this award is to recognize a Professional Engineer who is a member of the Regina Engineering Society and who shows a dedication to the improvement our society/community through their volunteer efforts.

Engineering Excellence Award  The purpose of this award is to recognize a Professional Engineer who is a member of the Regina Engineering Society and who demonstrates outstanding leadership and technical ability over the course of their career and/or who has demonstrated leadership and technical expertise on a significant project.

Criteria:
Awarded to students in each of the five disciplines:
  • one award for an industrial systems engineering student
  • one award for an electronics systems engineering student
  • one award for an environmental systems engineering student
  • one award for a petroleum systems engineering student
  • one award for a software systems engineering student
The student must be entering their 3rd semester (or above) and have demonstrated high academic achievement. The students must maintain a CGPA of 70% (weighted 70%) and have participated in extra-curricular activities demonstrating leadership abilities (weighted 30%). Preference will be given to students who do not hold any other scholarship or are below the maximum amount permitted.
